Preparation:

Tip 1:   

 

Plan ahead.  Research the organization and the position as well as the people you will meet in the interview (if possible).   You would have done that already to tailor your resume and cover letter.

Tip 2:   

Review your resume and your qualifications for the position.

Tip 3:   

 

Prepare answers to interview questions.  It might help if you write down and rehearse your answers. Conduct a mock interview. You can practice an interview with a friend or a relative.

Tip 4:   

Arrive before the scheduled time of your interview.  This will give you a chance to familiarize yourself with the interview environment and help you  relax.
 

Personal appearance:
